Attention Resident North Carolina Producers: North Carolina is in the process of converting your license number from your social security number (SSN) to your national producer number (NPN). You may be required to provide your NPN to perform electronic processes through NIPR based on this transition and other states' business rules. IN - Indiana offers both combined and separate lines of authority for Life, Accident & Health and Property & Casualty. DO NOT apply for both combination and separate authorities. Please check the state website to verify any active authorities.

NJ - New Jersey is now issuing licenses for a two year period instead of a four year period. Fees have been adjusted accordingly.

NY - Attention New York Non-Resident Applicants: Applicants that do not have a Date of Birth on PDB for their resident state currently cannot apply electronically via the NIPR Non-Resident Licensing website. New York will temporarily accept paper applications for these individuals. Please use the NY paper application. These applications may be found at: http://www.ins.state.ny.us/faxappi.htm



To successfully participate in electronic non-resident licensing you must:

• Hold an Active Resident License in one of the Home States participating in the National Insurance Producer Registry's Producer Database (PDB). (Home States)  
• Make application to one of the following States: (NRL States)  
• Provide your Social Security Number. (This is a required data field when completing the Non-Resident Uniform Application.)
