STATE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- Business Entities: Business Entities must be registered with the ND
Secretary of State prior to making application for a Non-Resident License.
Business Entities will be declined if this registration is not in place.
- Designated Producer(s) are required to hold a ND license (resident
license or NRL). The Designated Producer(s) must hold lines of authority
being requested by the Business Entity.
State fees will be collected by NIPR (on behalf of ND) when a transaction is
declined according to ND business rules. Transaction fees and processing fees
will also apply. Violation of the following rules will result in a decline
response.
- Individual applicants - Applicant must be 18
years old or older as determined from the applicant’s Date of Birth.
- Individual
applicants - Applicant must enter NASD CRD number on
application for Variable Products.
- Individual
applicants - Applicant applying for Variable Contracts must
also apply for or have Life LOA in ND.
