STATE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- Business Entities: All must be compliant with DC Secretary of
State. Confirmation that Question #23, Designated/Responsible Licensed
Producer, each have an active license and the required authorities. PLEASE
NOTE: You should not attempt to license a Designated/Responsible
Licensed Producer (DRLP) and the Business Entity on the same day. Please
submit the license application for the Designated/Responsible Licensed
Producer first. You may submit the license application for the Business
Entity after the DRLP's data has been loaded to the PDB, usually 1 or 2
business days after the license has been approved.
State fees will be collected by NIPR (on behalf of DC) when a transaction is
declined according to DC business rules. Transaction fees and processing fees
will also apply. Violation of the following rules will result in a decline
response.
- Individual applicants - Applicant must be 18
years old or older as determined from the applicant’s Date of Birth.

Entity applicants - Must be a Legal Business Type.
