STATE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- Canadian citizens cannot apply for a Non-Resident License electronically.
- Business Entities: Please confirm through PDB that each
Designated/Responsible Producer does hold an active license in Arkansas. If
all Designated/Responsible Producers are not already licensed in Arkansas,
the business entity license application will be declined.
State fees will be collected by NIPR (on behalf of AR) when a transaction is
declined according to AR business rules. Transaction fees and processing fees
will also apply. Violation of the following rules will result in a decline
response.
- Applicant must not have an inactive Non Resident
license in AR.
- Applicant must not have an inactive Resident
license in AR.
- Applicant must not already hold a Producer or Business Entity Non-Resident
license for any of the six major lines offered through eNRL.
- Canadian applicants cannot apply electronically
(with or without a U.S. Resident license).
- Individual applicants - Applicant must be 18
years old or older as determined from the applicant’s Date of Birth.
- Applicant must enter NASD CRD number on
application if applying for Variable.
- Business
Entity applicants - Each Designated Producer must hold an active
license in AR.

Entity applicants - Must be a Legal Business Type.
